It’s in the recycling box

I was very grateful to get my Amazon package, of course, but given that it was in a cardboard box, it was a good job that it wasn’t recycling day!! There was about £50 worth of stuff in it! “We now take cardboard!” say the council. “Excellent!” says courier.

Yes – we get deliveries placed in our recycling box – saves a trip to the sorting office – but as you say you just hope it’s not collection day! I’ve had such a fight with the council about what they will and won’t collect but as you’ve discovered they will now collect cardboard – so long as it’s not ‘too thick’!
