Note that this was posted around 6am….  Typical students, Chris says this is the second sunrise in a row that he has seen!!  Then the comment: “Are you going to Dakota tonight?” and they are actually considering it!!  It will be a hilarious room full of very sleepy people this morning.  We are supposed to be going for drinks, at 10am!!??

I was pleased to close my pink briefcase full of work at 7pm last night.  PHEW!  It is finished.  Well…. Nearly.  I think we spend the next two weeks painting the classrooms, building exhibition stands etc etc!!  I will also have to re-make my portfolio in a format that fits the show rather than having it in a pink briefcase.

Had a lovely evening last night with Warren, Sian and baby Grace celebrating Warren and Sian’s engagement!  Congratulations to them both.

This struck me as really quite a major diversion from College Road in Cheltenham in order to bypass the town centre….

This was just perhaps a little TOO specialist….  Indonesian Teak Root Furniture Sale.  Oooh I needed some of that as it happens!  I’ll call in.

ALL my remaining work is due in on Thursday, so I am working loonnnnng days.  I had a really bad night’s sleep last night too, for no real reason.  You know when you keep waking up for silly things like being too hot, needing a glass of water, having the duvet round your head etc?  Silly.

Here is my to do list:

Project One:  Complete – just need to trim edges down and make an intro page

Project Two: Need to make intro bookmark

Project Three:  Need to bind book, make cover and make intro bookmark.  Unfortunately when I got to the binding stage last night, I put the black page down in a pile of glue.  I nearly cried.

Project Four: Produce branding guidelines, three more visuals, web site design, intro page and print.

Project Five: Make DVD sleeve, burn DVD

Project Six: Finish interior sketch, print, make intro page

Portfolio assembly: Finish constructing design on pink briefcase, put rough work together and lay everything out in the case.   Somebody save me……..!!!!

This is my dissertation….As a book!  OooOooh!

FINALLY!  The bathroom floor is fitted.  It has been a bit of a faff, but it looks soooooo much better than the mouldy pink carpet that was in there before.  PS Don’t you think my butterfly shower curtain makes ALL the difference?? 

Now all we need is a white toilet and sink to match the white bath, instead of green ones, but I don’t think the landlady will be up for replacing them any time soon and, having decorated her bathroom for her, I don’t fancy buying her a new suite!!
