You may remember the hilarity that was our sitting room….  Let me refresh your memory:

TASTY!!  So…  After much stripping of wallpaper, hanging of lining paper, painting, floor fitting and various other measures, the sitting room now looks like this:

The whole theme for the room is taken from the photo (centre) which I took down the road from where we live.  I have used only the colours from the picture, so white, off-white, teal, oak and black.  It is a small room, so the white makes it appear bigger and choosing a very minimalist look and a simple colour palette has given it a relaxing feel.
