Much as I loathe a cliché, my motto for this year is “Carpe diem” – seize the moment.  Last year made me realise that days pass you by, so this year, my hope would be that anxiety would get stuffed and I would stop saying ‘what if’ and ‘but’ and just be spontaneous.  So this morning when I woke up and saw the snow, I was out before 9am taking photos.  If you don’t get out early it gets ruined and the light isn’t as special.  As it happened, I was a bit too early and ended up with dark photos.  Never mind!
